Jacob Tolton

Jacob Tolton

Jake is a lawyer in Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP’s Labour and Employment Law Group, where he practices exclusively in this area, serving clients across the public and private sectors.

Since 2020, Jake has represented employers before labour arbitrators, courts, and human rights tribunals, advocating on their behalf in a broad range of contentious workplace disputes, including grievances, wrongful dismissal claims, and discrimination and harassment complaints. He is a skilled advocate who is equally comfortable managing complex, multi-party proceedings and providing focused, practical representation aimed at efficient resolution.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jake advises employers of regulated professionals, providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, disciplinary processes, and issues arising from complaints or mandatory reporting obligations. His work helps organizations navigate regulated environments with confidence, stay onside of their legal obligations, and effectively manage risk.
