Joshua is an associate in our Montreal office, where he works with Osler’s Tax Group nationally, focusing primarily on tax litigation.
He comes to us from a clerkship at the Federal Court of Appeal, where he was hired to clerk for Chief Justice Noël and, after the Chief Justice’s retirement, clerked for Justice Goyette. Before his clerkship, Joshua attended the University of Oxford, where he studied international taxation, tax treaties, transfer pricing, and comparative domestic taxation. At Oxford, he earned an MPhil degree by writing a dissertation on international tax dispute resolution.
Before attending Oxford, Joshua earned a J.D. and B.C.L. from McGill’s Faculty of Law. While at McGill, he clerked for Justice Rogers at the Superior Court of Quebec and served as a research assistant for Professor Christians, where his research focused on international tax issues.
