Ryan is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group. He practices in all areas of intellectual property, with a focus on litigation. Ryan has been involved in matters before the Trademark Opposition Board, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Ryan obtained his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, graduating on the Dean’s List. Prior to law school, he obtained his B.Sc. (Honours) from Queen’s University, where he Specialized in Life Sciences and graduated with Distinction. While at Dalhousie, Ryan was a VP of both the Business Law Association of Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Asian Law Students Association.
