Matthew is returning to the firm after completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta. Prior to law school Matthew graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his undergraduate studies Matthew gained experience as a project coordinator for one of Canada’s largest general contractors.

While in law school Matthew participated in Student Legal Services providing free legal assistance to low-income individuals. He also represented the University of Alberta at the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot Court Competition in Toronto.
